LinkUp publishes a quarterly Job Market Diversification Report that assesses job market resilience using LinkUp’s extensive job listing data and exclusive statistical methodology.

Methodology

 
The Job Market Diversification Report provides a composite score measuring the variety of job opportunities within 150 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) by industry, company and job category. Cities are scored on a scale out of a possible 160 points, with higher scores indicating more job market diversification.

Job diversification is measured across:



Number of industries
with job openings

Number of companies
with job openings

Number of job categories
with job openings
